Muhammad Ali is arguably the greatest boxer to ever put on a pair of boxing gloves and step in the ring.He was a professional boxer and also a activist to the civil right movement. In 1966 2 years after he one his heavy weight title he soon lost it because he was refusing to be drafted into the military knowing that the government puts any that refuses to go off to war in prison, he didn’t feel the need to go due to his religious beliefs and the opposition to the american involvement in the Vietnam war. After being out of the ring for nearly four years he still felt the need keep  chasing his dream with boxing by fighting in one of the biggest fights of his career against his rival Joe Frazier. being a Muslim he was affiliated with Elijah Muhammad, advocated with black separatist later avowed the NOI, adhering to Sunni Islam, practicing Sufism , and supporting racial integration following up from his mentor Malcolm X After Ali had retired he focused mainly on his family, his religion, and charity. But shorty after he retired he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s syndrome coming from the long boxing career he had and all the shots to the head.
